Identity was established to provide a quality embroidery service to address the shortage of skilled embroiders in the UK. The market for promotional merchandise and branded workwear was growing, yet the poor level of embroidery on many of these items did not reflect the quality attainable

Types of processes
Vinyl transfers are one of those additional options, focusing on offering support for colour layering vinyl pressing allows designers to use multiple colours and produce high quality final prints.
The process is centred on embellishing a garment. It requires a vinyl cutter which allows you to cut out a logo or design from a specific sheet which is then pressed through usual heat transfer means.
Types of items this is used for are sporting team numbers on shirts, bag logo etc

Sublimation is used for items such as light colours and synthetic surfaces. It creates an improved effect because the ink turns in to a gas under the heating process and creates a better result.
The main difference that separates sublimation printing is in the way that the inks become sensitive to heat which is how it creates the desired effect, special tones are used and a transfer sheet is produced this is then applied to a variety of fabrics.

Heat transfer printing is a popular choice for small businesses because the process involves heat transfer to press on existing photo or designs on to the fabric or item.
Transfer printing is ideal for small quantities and is a faster process.

Embroidery, using state of the art multiple head computerised embroidery machines we produce up to 15 separate colour threads per design. We load your digital design into the machines and then select the threads required to match your specifications.
